means that some very rich and vibrant themes will continue and only get better. The main thing that sets 2009 apart from previous years is the huge amount of confidence you have and the sheer belief both in yourself and that anything is possible. There is also a huge sense of entitlement that may to see you move into the New Year without having made any resolutions, instead with a belief that this year it’s not about what you can or should do, but what the year is going to do for you. This year the boot is on the other foot in that it’s not you that owes life something, but the other way round.
This comes from an extraordinary line up that you begin the year with, with the Sun, Jupiter, Pluto, Mercury and Mars, the planets of luck, change, communication and passion, all in your income sector. This sets the tone for a very good financial year, even though Jupiter, planet of luck, will leave within the first week, on the 6th January. You have not only come too far to back down, the advantages that are already in play aren’t going anywhere, they are here to stay.
Mercury leaves your income sector on Day 1, leaving on New Years Day but returning later in the month. Jupiter leaves on the 6th January, the Sun later in the month and Mars in February. However Pluto, planet of change and revolution, is here to stay and all he really needed from the other planets was a push start. Staying in your income sector until November 2024, you haven’t just reached a powerful income or financial year, but a powerful era. This is not only responsible for the income opportunities this creates, but the sense of confidence that you're moving into the year with.
This is being aided and abetted by Saturn, who continues to dominate your career sector, where he’s actively supporting and getting support from your income sector. This is an advantage that will hold right through until the end of October, when Saturn leaves your career sector, turning his attention to your sector of friendship, teamwork and networking, when life will become a lot more people focused.
In the meantime, when Jupiter and the other planets leave your income sector they move into your communication sector, which becomes the luckiest and most expansive area of your chart. This is good news and is what makes this such a vibrant year, for your communication sector touches every aspect of your life. This is the area of your chart that rules your mind, your thinking and your communications and when your mind is expanded and your ability to communicate is expanded, your world expands. If great accomplishments, successes and journeys begin with an idea, then imagine what you can accomplish during a year of great ideas. It’s a case of watch this space!
There are some especially good things happening on the home, family and property front, beginning almost immediately if not already underway before the year began. There were some real challenges here, especially in October and November, yet already you're able to see this as simply a breakthrough period and now that you're on the other side things are already falling into place. It’s on the 4th January that Venus moves into your home and family sector, spending almost a month here then returning again in April, checking up on how the planets following behind have managed turning her desires into reality. It is right through until April that is especially good for any home, family, property or lifestyle matters.
The other events that are going to colour your year surround Venus and Mars, who will both retrograde this year, both in Fire signs, which is good for all the Fire signs, but especially for you.
Venus is the first to make an impact, moving into your romantic and creative sector on the 3rd February and instead of leaving 4 weeks later, as she normally would, won’t leave until the 6th June, an incredible 4 months later. In that time she will give you the opportunity for some second chances and to take a trip down memory lane. She’ll also be joined by the other planets, including Mars, planet of passion. This creates some extremely powerful romantic forces that completely make up for the relationship challenges of the past and make 2009 an extremely good year for love and for your creative passions.
Mars will move into fellow Fire sign Leo, ruler of your sector of travel, adventure, learning and discovery, on the 17th October and instead of leaving 6 weeks later, will stay for an incredible 8 months. It is these 8 months that have the power to change your world, literally. This is the area of the chart that is ruled by Sagittarius, so this is your kind of energy and the reason why you were born curious and a born adventure seeker. Every now and then you get a chance to flex those muscles, but it’s been 3 decades since you've had anything close to this amount of passion here. Mars is the warrior planet and here he is going to spend 8 months, from October 2009 to June 2010. This is set to create a sense of wanderlust and a hunger for adventure and for a life that will be impossible to resist, even if it means fighting to make it happen.
You were born ready for an advantage like this and together with Jupiter and Neptune, the planets of dreams and fantasies in your communication sector all year, this is a year it seems that even your wildest dreams can come true.
Work:
The fact that Saturn turns retrograde in your career sector on New Years Day, the very first day of the New Year, is an indication that there are no urgent agendas. In fact, it’s not going to be until April/May that you are going to have to pay a lot more attention. Until then this is a time for reaping, rather than sowing, with some extreme income advantages in the early months of the year. It’s in April that first Mercury, then the Sun, Venus and Mars will all move through your work sector, keeping it active until early July. This puts the focus onto your work situation, with new work opportunities opening up and the chance for new beginnings, maybe even a new job, towards the end of April. June through to early July are especially good for all job matters, with very good opportunities. It is right in the middle of this period that Saturn turns direct in your career sector, on the 17th May. This is when things are going to start moving in a significant way, for once direct Saturn is then into his final run, anxious to get as many things moving as possible, before he leaves your career sector on the 30th October. With Saturn in direct motion in your career sector and some very significant events happening on the job front, it is the middle months of the year that hold huge professional potential, with income opportunities to match.
Love:
Any year that Venus, planet of love, spends nearly 4 months in your romantic sector, has to be a good year for love. What a difference a year makes, for this time last year you were in the middle of not one, but two fairly challenging relationship periods, with Mars spending an extended time in your relationship sector, then returning for a second run. This managed to shake the tree and get rid of anything not working, with Venus’ return to your sign in November, being the real line in the sand. Fast forward a year and where you were looking down the barrel of relationship challenges, you're now looking down the barrel of romantic opportunities. Venus doesn’t move into your romantic sector until the 3rd February, but when she does she’ll stay right until the 6th June, dominating the first half of the year. She will leave for 12 days, from the 12th to the 24th April, giving you a chance to put things in perspective. The planet of love is going to ensure that your heart has a voice, using Jupiter and Neptune to keep the communication lines open. It is while Venus is still in your romantic sector that relationship opportunities begin to open up, with the whole period from the 1st May to the end of August especially good for all relationship matters. Even Mars will return for a catch up, from the 12th July to the 26th August.
Money:
The income opportunities that began last year when Jupiter, planet of luck, spent the whole year in your income sector continue this year. You begin the year with the Sun, Jupiter, Pluto, Mercury and Mars, the planets of luck, change, communication and passion, all in your income sector, giving Jupiter the kind of send off that is creating a tail wind that will continue to bring income opportunities, for months and years to come. For while Mercury will leave on New Years Day, returning again later in the month for a few extra weeks, Jupiter on the 6th January, the Sun later in the month and Mars next month, Pluto is here for the long haul. Pluto will stay in your income sector until 2024 and with help from the other planets from time to time, the opportunities you have now are here to stay. With Saturn in your career sector until October, the bond between these two areas of your chart will continue to bring professional and financial opportunities for the coming year. Apart from income opportunities and the rise in confidence that goes with it, don’t over play things, with no activity in your financial sector until the middle of the year. Once the Sun arrives in your financial sector on the 21st June, your financial situation will need more of your attention. Watch out for important events or clues during a total solar eclipse on the 22nd July. After that your financial sector will remain active until mid October. |
