Career and Business:

If how you begin a new professional year is any indication of how it will play out and what you will accomplish, then you have 2012 in the bag before you even begin. This is one year that is yours to lose, when the odds are so much in your favour that all you really have to do is show up and opportunities are likely to come your way. You begin the year with Jupiter, planet of luck not only in your career sector, but having just turned direct on the 26th December, ready to get things moving again. Jupiter's retrograde phase has taken him right back to the very start of your career sector, so instead of starting where you left off, you've gone back to the starting line with a chance to start over, this time with both luck and hindsight to draw on. You're moving into 2012 aware of where the pitfalls and the shortcuts are and a lot more aware of what you're aiming for. With Jupiter not leaving your career sector until the 12th June, with ongoing support from Mars in your income sector and Pluto in your work sector and more active support from the Sun, Mercury and Venus as they move through, this is likely to be a pinnacle professional year for you. It's Venus' return to your career sector from the 5th March to the 4th April, the Sun's from the 20th April to the 21st May and Mercury's from the 9th to the 24th May that will give Jupiter the support, tools and resources to get you over the line. These are also likely to be some of the most successful professional weeks of the year. The aim, by the time Jupiter leaves on the 12th June, is to have things on the path that they'll continue on for the next decade and beyond. With Mars in your income sector until the 4th July this is also likely to be a lucrative time, especially with Mars enjoying a close relationship with Jupiter. With Pluto in your work sector from 2008 to the 2024, there is a very long rebellion or revolution taking place to move you out of a rut, but it's when Pluto has direct planetary support that this will break the surface and start manifesting as real movement on the work front. As is normally the case, this is more likely to be at the start and end of the year, with the Sun in your work sector until the 21st January and Mercury here from the 8th to the 28th January. Relationship and Love:

You're moving into 2012 with planetary activity in both your romantic and relationship sectors and with urgency on both fronts, especially as they both need your attention. But with Mercury, planet of communication leaving your romantic sector on the 8th January and then no more planetary activity here until Mars returns on the 7th October, in the first week of 2012 giving your heart a voice is a priority. However Venus, planet of love will have something to say about that, especially as she's due to leave your relationship sector on the 14th January. This creates some real urgency on the romantic and relationship fronts in the very early days of the year, which is going to raise the bar on both fronts. The real urgency however is on the relationship front for with Neptune, planet of dreams and fantasies leaving on the 4th February and then not returning again in your lifetime, this is his last chance to work with Venus to define your relationship expectations.

This is one time when how you move into a new year and how you define your romantic and relationship expectations, really will define your reality for the coming year. You'll retain a sense of romantic direction through to late August, with a lunar eclipse in your romantic sector on the 4th June bringing the element of fate and destiny into play, but it's the period from the 7th October 2012 to the 9th January 2013 that are the most romantically charged months. On the relationship front it's the early months of the year that are the most defining and where most of your attention needs to be.

While Venus will leave your relationship sector on the 14th January, the planet of love will leave behind a lot of love and the confidence to walk the talk during what are not only the most important relationship weeks of the year, but ever, for they will define your expectations moving forward. Those weeks are the weeks leading up to Neptune's departure from your relationship sector on the 4th February and the weeks immediately after, running their course on the 19th February. While you've had your fair share of financial ups and downs and challenges in previous years, considering how the money gods are favouring you this year, chances are it's all in preparation, giving you the work out required to appreciate an opportunity when you see one and to come out of your corner fighting. Some of the most lucrative weeks of any year are going to be when Mars, planet of passion, drive and ambition and the warrior planet of the cosmos moves through your income sector, igniting a sense of justice and entitlement as well as the courage and confidence to fight for what you want and deserve. Mars will normally visit once every 2 years, for around 6 weeks and while his return to your income sector on the 11th November means that as you move into the New Year he should have just left, he's still there, he has both guns drawn, your passions pumping and your fighting spirit engaged. Even after Mars leaves your income sector on the 4th July with the Sun moving through from the 23rd August to the 23rd September, Mercury from the 1st to the 17th September and Venus from the 3rd to the 29th October, there is plenty of support to continue the fight, giving you the potential and the tools to make 2012 a very lucrative year.
