It was the few months that both Jupiter and Uranus spent in your career sector last year that has already created a lot of the framework that some very lucky professional forces this year will build on. It's Jupiter's return to your career sector on the 23rd January and Uranus' on the 12th March that kicks off some very lucky and expansive months, but more importantly creates a gateway into a professional chapter that will extend out for many years. It's the North Node's move into your work sector on the 3rd March that intensifies that professional focus and also sets the scene for a pair of game changing eclipses, the first on the 16th June and the second on the 25th November. With Jupiter only in your career sector until the 23rd June, it's the first few months of the year that will get things moving. Both personal and professional networking will become a lot more important in the second half of the year, kicking off when Jupiter begins a year long journey through your sector of friendship, teamwork and networking on the 5th June. Relationship themes will ebb and flow throughout the year, making 2011 an important year for both personal and professional relationship building, with communication becoming an important theme later in the year, especially from early November onwards. The one thing that will be your rock, your support, your foundation and the thing that you most need to take seriously this year is your home and family life.
Business:
Don't be surprised if you move into the New Year with things on the job, career and professional fronts still up in the air, something that is not usually the case, for it's not that you're feeling fickle, it's that the stars themselves haven't yet got all the options on the table. With Mercury still in your work sector and not leaving until the 14th January, having only turned direct on the 30th November 2010 it will be 2 weeks into the year until you've finished running through your ideas and options. And with Venus, who normally visits your work sector in November and December each year not even arriving until the 8th January, you won't have a sense of what you want until then. It's during Venus' time in your work sector, from the 8th January to the 4th February that everything will change and at the same time fall into place, so the more you can move into the New Year with your heart and your mind open the better. While Venus will give you a much clearer sense of where your heart stands and what you do and don't want on the job front this year, the real sea change happens on the 23rd January. That's when Jupiter, planet of luck returns to your career sector, having put things on hold when he retrograded back out on the 9th September last year. Here for just 4 ½ months, from the 23rd January to the 5th June, Jupiter is going to pick up from where he left off last year, building on the framework already in place, allowing him to hit the ground running and for things to accelerate rapidly. By the end of the first month you're likely to be firing on all cylinders on both the work and career fronts, coming up to speed a lot sooner than is normally the case. Things should move to an even higher level with Mercury's arrival in your career sector on the 10th March, just 2 days before Uranus returns on the 12th March. It's from this point on that your career sector will be continuously active until May 2038, kicking off the longest and most sustained professional chapter in your lifetime. From the 12th March expect things to move into overdrive, as the Sun follows Mercury into your career sector on the 21st March and Mars less than 2 weeks later on the 2nd April. With Venus not even reaching your career sector until the 21st April and not leaving until the 16th May you'll still be climbing just a few weeks before Jupiter is due to leave. Even though Jupiter will leave your career sector on the 5th June what is launched in the first 5 months of 2011 is just the beginning of a chapter that will extend out for years, with 2011 a gateway year into the most important professional chapter in your lifetime. Expect a lot of movement and forward progression on the job front this year, with some surprise developments around the 16th June and again around the 25th November, in the middle of an active work period that begins on the 2nd November and extends out to the 14th January 2012. Love:
Not only is it very normal for you to move into the New Year with your relationship sector active, it's impossible to have it any other way, with the Sun moving through your relationship sector from around the 22nd December to the 20th January each year, which is the case this year. But for only the second time in your life you have both Pluto and Mars in your relationship sector as well, with your relationships seeming to be on a course that only they're privy too. As much as you may try and steer things in the direction you think they should take, the more it's going to become like trying to herd cats. Your relationships have a mind of their own, with a need to trust and follow where they're taking you. Your relationship sector will remain active all year, but will be especially active until early March. Mars leaves your relationship sector on the 16th January, after which things will become a lot less urgent and intense, with the Sun bringing his annual relationship review until the 20th January. The real fun begins when Venus, planet of love finally reaches your relationship sector on the 4th February, making the first of 2 visits this year. Her first visit from the 4th February to the 2nd March will be all about making up for lost time, for she never reached your relationship sector in 2010. She'll return again from the 27th November to the 21st December, to make sure that things are on track. A solar eclipse in your relationship sector on the 4th January could bring an element of fate or destiny into play and is an auspicious day for new beginnings. While having your relationship sector active at the start of the year is very normal it's rare to find romantic activity. Yet for the first time in 8 years you're moving into 2011 with Venus in your romantic sector and staying until the 8th January she's making sure that the year begins with your heart in the right place. Your Venus return midyear, from the 4th to the 29th July will give you a chance to get your romantic bearings, before Venus comes full circle, returning to your romantic sector from the 9th October to the 2nd November. As always October and November will be the most romantic months of the year. Click to find out more.
Money:
This is the year when you're finally going to get that monkey off your back, resolving and making peace with old financial challenges and wounds, putting the past behind you and turning your full attention onto chasing your dreams. The year begins as it has for the last 5 years, with Neptune and Chiron together in your financial sector, with Neptune here even longer, since January 1998. Neptune and Chiron have been working as a team, having aligned 8 times between April 2009 and November 2010, to resolve the past and shape your financial dreams for the future as a joint process. Together they've been teaching you that you can't chase your big dreams without first confronting old demons and you can't release those demons if there's nothing to strive for. As you move into the New Year their last alignment in your financial sector in your lifetime has just ended, just days before Christmas. With Chiron finally leaving your financial sector on the 9th February, not to return for another 5 decades, you're finally ready to put the past behind you. It's Mars' return to your financial sector on the 16th January, just weeks before Chiron is due to leave that is likely to see your fighting spirit kick in, just as determined to fight against the things you don't want as he is for the things you do want. The Sun's arrival in your financial sector on the 20th January and Mercury's on the 4th February will put a lot of focus onto resolving things on the financial front, leaving you free to move on. By the time Venus reaches your financial sector on the 2nd March Chiron will be gone and so too will the Sun, Mars and Mercury. This will leave Venus and Neptune, the planets of money and dreams on their own, creating some dream weeks on the financial front. With Neptune leaving your financial sector on the 5th April, then returning on the 5th August to wrap things up before finally leaving in February 2012, the planet of dreams and fantasies will be working with Venus to take a serious approach to fulfilling the kind of financial dreams you may have been working towards for years. Venus will make 2 visits to your financial sector this year, returning on the 21st December to help you get an early start on Neptune's last ever weeks in your financial sector. While 2011 is likely to be a defining and watershed year for financial matters as a whole, you'll find plenty of income opportunities, especially from the 2nd July through to the 11th November, by which time you should have gathered some serious professional momentum.
